L.A. Producer and multi-instrumentalist Cameron Brooks’s sound is genre bending and time transcending. His tracks incorporate grungy alt-rock and psychedelia as comfortably as they do electronic waves, cinematic buildups, and hip-hop rhythms. A track might seem like it starts in the 1940’s and ends in the 2040’s. Other times Brooks feels reminiscent of a more experimental Jack White, hitting you with raw garage jams but then leaving you in some sort of space-age odyssey. Specializing in recording retro analog equipment with modern production techniques, Cameron can be found working on original film scores, his latest album, and producing other artists. Most notably, Cameron’s work was featured in the second season of Emmy-winning Netflix series Stranger Things.
